PFG Best Missing Funds - In what may be another MF Global situation of missing customer funds from a commodity trading firm, PFG Best of Cedar Rapids, Iowas has had all of its account frozen while regulators look for missing funds.  The charge of missing client money was reported along with the attempted suicide of the company's founder, Russell Wasendorf, Sr. on Monday.  Regulators believe that as much as $220 million of customer funds are missing - virtually all of the customer money on account at the firm.  This is just the beginning of a sad story.

Kim Dotcom Case Delayed Until March 2013 - Earlier this year, the U.S. in conjunction with authorities in New Zealand, arrested MegaUpload founder Kim Dotcom.  The validity of the arrest and the subsequent search of Dotcom's properties have come into question by the court in New Zealand....those questions will be answered at a hearing next March.  The U.S. is seeking to extradite Dotcom to face trial here in the states ... looks like a long battle ahead.

Sexual Harassment in Silicon Valley - Ellen Pao worked for one of Silicon Valley's most prestigious firms, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers LLC.  Pao claims she was sexually harassed while working at the firm and her calls for justice to partners at the firm were ignored.  A San Francisco judge has sided with Pao to let her case move forward in the courts in a case that promises to reveal a good ole' boy network.
